Whether buffalo is also sacred, I am not sure. Perhaps the bias against anything dark works here as well.Rajhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09367344161081393779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15891023.post-16858813657792282092009-10-25T19:11:21.495+05:302009-10-25T19:11:21.495+05:30Hi Raj:

It is very difficult (or rather I would say) impossible to pass off beef as mutton. Anybody who is a regular can make out the difference.

DennyDENNYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11365344377893908432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15891023.post-42189488023319752162009-10-19T10:26:12.158+05:302009-10-19T10:26:12.158+05:30Balaji, I've heard that what passes off as mut...Balaji, I've heard that what passes off as mutton is actually beef, because latter is cheaper.Rajhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09367344161081393779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15891023.post-9181109793441185702009-10-19T08:40:15.203+05:302009-10-19T08:40:15.203+05:30Raj - While driving around the districts, I have c...Raj - While driving around the districts, I have come across small shops with handwritten boards screaming " Ingu BEEP kidaikkum". You must visualize the BEEP part in Tamizh with a BEE and "ip" after that. But, for a change, I wasn't trying any humour here. I found the statistics counter-intuitive, that's all.Rajhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09367344161081393779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15891023.post-37997278914773912712009-10-18T15:52:18.191+05:302009-10-18T15:52:18.191+05:30Mr. Raj, this post is slightly misleading. In lieu of this fact it should be no surprise that Gapminder ranks India fourth behind USA, China Brazil. Oh Ya, your posts are all in good humor...and I did get the point :)Madannoreply@blogger.com
